Morning routine

Wakes to water first, same as her mother — not the spa, the shore-sound in her head. Combs the length of her hair until it behaves, which takes longer than anyone else’s morning. Boards the M2 without hurry. Does not miss the carriage.

Appearance

Hair so long it scrapes her ankles: dark like Solene’s, pulled through a soft blue-lavender wash that turns almost white at the tips. Violet eyes with a cooler edge than her mother’s. Pale, composed face. At home: layered sea-silk and translucent drapery, no staff — she has not inherited the seahorse yet. At Rosehaven: the academy uniform worn clean, the hair braided or bound so it does not become a second student in the aisle.

Personality

Solene’s calm, with a thin sharp line under it. Patient until she is not. Speaks less than she watches; when she does speak it is exact. Kind without being soft in the way that gets walked on. Gets on with Linden the way still water gets on with a garden — they do not compete. Vlad’s noise does not rattle her; she simply waits it out. Rowan’s playing is the highest review she will give without a speech.

Powers

Water affinity, quieter than Solene’s staff-work. She shapes rather than floods. Can breathe it the way her mother can. The sharpness is in control, not volume.

Interests & role

Long still water, the dock after Melina’s last note, hair that takes an hour, Class D as a place she can listen from the back row and still be the one who understood the lesson. Protects the quiet without making a speech about it.

Notes

Forty-fifth girl. Solene’s daughter. Class D with Vlad, Linden, and Rowan. The opposite of short hair was the brief; the rest is the maiden line continuing with a blade in it. Not Court. Not the kitchen roster. The spa is her mother’s. The open water is hers.
