The calm, precise counterweight to Nova’s warmer presence. She makes sure the morning actually works while everyone else is still waking up. Not a daughter of the Manor — an Ashenport resident who chose the Novacastrian, and stayed.
Appearance
Tall and composed. Dark-brown hair, usually a low neat ponytail or simple half-up; at the bar it is gathered so it stays out of the work. Soft grey eyes, a perpetually measured expression. Working: white wrap tunic, navy apron, flower clasp, harbour lantern light. Off the floor: simple well-fitted dark clothing — black trousers, a clean blouse, a practical apron if the morning still needs her. Clean posture. Almost no wasted gesture.
Personality
Not cold — simply economical with words and emotion. Prefers order, clean lines, and things done properly the first time. Handles inventory, early openings, the exact temperature of the coffee, the placement of every chair, without ever needing to announce it. When she speaks it is usually short, accurate, and slightly dry. Around the family she softens in small noticeable ways: a quiet nod of approval, an extra pastry placed exactly where someone will want it, a single raised eyebrow that somehow conveys both affection and mild judgement. Protective of Nova in a low-key, older-sister fashion. Treats the Court with the same understated care — never doting, never loud, but always present. She does not seek the centre of attention.
