Hung 9 September 2026, same walnut as Harbour Knit, eighth hook, landscape so the line and the water both stay in the picture. Black engine, red buffer beam, 6029 on the plate. Maroon carriages that have already learned every face on the timetable. The stack does not throw ordinary smoke — cosmos, the Manor’s weather, leaking into the run because the kids on this train know the window. Quiet carriage and loud carriage on the same consist. First bell still ahead. Nobody is late yet. Accession MG.2026.008. The M2 is not scenery. It is how the house reaches the bell.
